The darkness is growing stronger, and the feel of malice and danger around them heavier as the Dark gathers itself for another blow. The door may be closed, but the burning light is fallen away There is nothing now between it and the children and their greenhouse but a familiar and hated presence that radiates a power which the Dark knows as almost akin to its own.
